Nougat

This delicious handcrafted nougat is a precision process that requires just the right ingredients, temperatureAlmond Nougat and time. Nougat is a traditional European confection that dates back many centuries with variations throughout much of Europe, particularly the southern European countries of Italy, France and Spain.

With tastes rooted both in Europe and America, this signature Nougat is a merger of the Old and New World. The result is soft, chewy nougat that is absolutely irresistible.

Almond Nougat:
With new legions of fans being created daily, the original – and most popular nougat– is Almond. The mixture of fresh, whole California almonds and signature nougat creates a wonderful tasting treat that is subtly - not overpoweringly - sweet. With fresh batches made every day, you’ll always get fresh, tasty nougat.

Hazelnut Nougat:
Mixing Hazelnuts (aka Filberts) into the signature nougat provides a nice twist on the original Almond Nougat. If you love Hazelnuts, you’ll love this nougat. Hazelnuts are naturally a bit sweeter than almonds, thus the Hazelnut Nougat is a touch sweeter than the Almond Nougat.

Caramels

Made fresh with the highest quality ingredients and no preservatives, these Avenue Sweets caramels are soft, rich and buttery.

Golden (Vanilla) Caramels (pictured to the right):
A classic favorite – the vanilla caramel. Everyone loves a good caramel… so you (or your gift recipient) will really enjoy a great caramel. Soft and chewy, you’ll crave more from the first bite.Golden Caramels

Pecan Caramels:
Our classic vanilla caramel loaded with pecans makes an amazing combination. Unless you have a nut allergy – you need to eat some!

Dark Chocolate Caramels:
We mix in top quality dark chocolate to these caramels to create a caramel that is full with deep, rich chocolate flavor.

100% Natural Licorice Caramels:
Our classic vanilla caramel with anise extract – the extract from the seeds of the flowering plant creates the sweet, aromatic licorice flavor. This flavor is generally known as “black licorice”. However, anise extract is clear and translucent. If you run across a black licorice caramel, it will almost certainly contain artificial food coloring. Ours do not. So, while it may look like a “regular” caramel, it’s actually bursting with licorice flavor with nothing artificial.
